I volunteered my services to the National Park a couple of weeks ago to demolish and rebuild this seat a little further from the sea.The two days it took me and several national park apprentices to complete the work were done over the stormiest weather I've ever had to work in. Redcar a couple of miles away recorded wind speeds of 68 mph. It was certainly enough to make sure you couldn't stand still in the teeth of the storm and it was not the kind of conditions you could concentrate in for long.

ReplyDeleteI did as a 'volunteer' So I didn't even get paid. Although dry the wind was gusting at over 60 mph, it was difficult to stand at times and even harder to concentrate.
